The Universal Certified Cot Adaptor Deck by Rowland Emergency is designed to give EMS crews a direct, locked connection between compatible aircraft transport platforms and a standard ambulance cot. Engineered to replicate aircraft locking configurations, it's built to work with the LifePort AeroSled and Ferno MTLS, and it's universally adaptable across most stretcher platforms, including Ferno and Stryker models.
The deck assembles from two interlocking halves with a removable foot and leg system, mounting securely to the stretcher frame rail (mattress removed) at four contact points. The result is a stable, repeatable transfer platform that holds its position through loading, transit, and unloading, without depending on the specific cot model underneath it.
Developed as a dedicated solution for the air-to-ground handoff, the Universal Certified Cot Adaptor Deck helps remove a recurring point of friction in patient transfers: confirming that two different agencies, often running two different stretcher systems, can actually connect before the patient ever moves.
