Instructions:

  • Begin by applying Teflon tape to all male-threaded oxygen fittings to ensure a proper seal and prevent leaks.
  • Remove Existing DISS Ports:
      • Carefully unthread and remove both existing DISS ports from the regulator using the appropriate tools.
    • Inspect threads for any damage or debris before proceeding.
  • Install Oxygen Plug (R-604117):
    • Install R-604117 (Oxygen Plug Fitting 1/8") into one of the vacated DISS port locations.
    • Ensure it is tightened securely to prevent leakage.
  • Install Add-On Fittings for Carry Device Compatibility:
    • In the second vacated DISS port location, install one of the following fittings based on your setup:
  • R-104001 – Hansen Quick Disconnect
    or R-104000 – DISS Fitting
    • Ensure fitting is aligned properly and tightened with appropriate torque.
    • Verify that all connections are secure and free of leaks.
